Double and triple loop learning enable an organization to consciously manage the higher levels of the complexity framework (gender, relationships, leadership, values, mission, vision and environment). The double loop level of learning helps an organization to scrutinize the assumptions that drive its actions while the triple loop level of learning enables it to review its mission, values and context in relation to the outcomes.

This confirms what am thinking especially in relation to learning organizations trying to construct and maintain their identity continuously.
